Trees for Oroville
CA-RELEAF, Cal Fire, CA Prop 68, & US Dept. of Forestry fund the planting of 321 trees in Oroville
In the fall of 2020, OBGEC became the proud recipient of a grant that furthers our mission by planting trees throughout the Oroville Community.
OBGEC is looking for volunteers to help plant these trees in the following areas:

Dunstone Memorial Hall (Completed)
-
African American Family & Cultural Center
-
Ehman Home
-
Feather River Trails
-
Martin Luther King Jr Park
-
Riverbend Park
-
Southside Community Center
-
Thermalito Elementary School District (Early February 2021)
-
Veterans of Foreign Wars

Volunteers: Please bring a shovel & some gloves. You will be provided with beverages, lunch, & masks. Planting begins at 9 AM.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed.
